The Audition

Acting Auditions

General Auditions

August 16,  3:30 until 5:30 PM in the auditorium

Students must prepare and perform a two-minute age-appropriate monologue from a published play. Your selection should demonstrate your range and talents. You should also make a selection that is reminiscent of the character you would like to play. Monologue books are available through local libraries and bookstores. Auditioning students that make Callbacks will also be required to demonstrate an ability to read “cold” from a provided script. While this play is not a musical there are several moments actors may be asked to sing. Please be prepared to sing a lullaby or folk song of your choice with no accompaniment.
